Event files

DayZ Event Spawner Helpers

Prepare repeatable event and spawn file changes for custom locations, admin events, and planned server content.

Planned events

Event Spawner Helpers support owners building scheduled server content.

They are for planned experiences: custom areas, spawn changes, event objects, and server file edits that need to be reused.

The point is to make event preparation repeatable so staff are not rebuilding the same file changes from memory every time.

Repeatable event files

Owners can prepare event files, review them, and then use Discord commands to manage the server work.

It also gives staff a cleaner way to test ideas before a full event night.

Commands

  1. Use /file download to get the current file before making event changes.
  2. Use /file gameplay edit or the relevant generator tool for supported event file changes.
  3. /generate teleports file builds the teleporter file when the event uses DayZ Editor marker items.
  4. Use /file upload after staff review the result.

Event file checks

  • Test event files before advertising the event.
  • Keep event files named and organized clearly so staff know which file belongs to which event.
