Questions and answers

Question: Does Legion include economy, games, and bounty features?

Answer: Yes. Legion has a full economy system with banking, payouts, player commands, games, and bounty features - it's not just a log viewer.

Question: Can Legion upload, download, or edit DayZ server files?

Answer: Yes. Legion supports direct file work on your DayZ server - cfgGameplay editing, file validation, compare tools, weather config, generator tools, and other admin file tasks. The website also has free tools for a lot of this.

Question: Which DayZ servers does Legion Killfeed support?

Answer: Xbox and PlayStation DayZ servers hosted on Nitrado. Legion was built for console from the ground up - it wasn't a PC mod that got ported over later.

Question: Who writes the songs on the audio page?

Answer: Soul writes all the songs. The lyrics and sound direction are Soul's - AI is used to generate the vocals and instrumentals.

Question: What is on the audio page?

Answer: The audio page is a media section on killfeed.co with Legion songs and releases. It's completely separate from the DayZ tools and bot setup sections.

Question: Does Legion have base radars?

Answer: Yes. Legion has base radar support with configurable shapes, ownership tracking, and dedicated channel outputs for moderation or community visibility.

Question: The bot is not responding properly. What should I check first?

Answer: Check the basics first: bot permissions in Discord, whether you used the right Nitrado token, whether the DayZ service is actually linked, whether the required Nitrado logging settings are enabled, and whether the feed channels were created or assigned. Most issues trace back to one of those.

Question: Why does Legion Killfeed ask for strong Discord permissions when joining?

Answer: It needs those permissions to create your channel structure, send embeds, manage the setup flow, and keep staff channels separate from public ones. Without them, setup either breaks mid-process or falls back to you doing everything manually.

Question: What is Legion Killfeed?

Answer: Legion Killfeed is a DayZ Discord bot built for Xbox and PlayStation servers on Nitrado. It handles killfeeds, hitfeeds, player stats, leaderboards, radars, heatmaps, alt detection, tickets, economy systems, scheduled tasks, and a set of free web tools for DayZ server admin work - all in one place.

Question: Where can I find Legion setup videos and tool walkthroughs?

Answer: Use the Videos page for Legion setup walkthroughs, DayZ tool demos, Discord bot setup help, and related media. Music releases stay on the Audio page so setup guides and songs are not mixed together.

Question: Does Legion create the channels for me?

Answer: Yes. Run /setup channels and Legion will create the feed categories and channels for you - you don't have to build them manually.

Question: What feeds does Legion create during setup?

Answer: The auto-setup creates a full console DayZ layout: killfeed, hitfeed, PVE feed, leaderboards, bank, games, connects, build feed, glitch logs, bot logs, status feeds, and an online count voice channel. You can add radars, bounties, map outputs, and anything else after the initial setup.

Question: Can Legion run a PVE server with PVP zones?

Answer: Yes. Legion handles mixed-rule servers - PVE with PVP zones, full PVP, or full PVE. The zone logic is actually built in, not just listed on a feature sheet.

Question: Does Legion include a ticket system?

Answer: Yes. Legion has a built-in ticket system with configurable panel text, welcome messages, embed styling, colors, and refresh options - you can set it up to match your server.

Question: Does Legion track player stats, ranks, and leaderboards?

Answer: Yes. Legion stores player stats and has leaderboard views so your server data is actually useful over time - not just a live feed that disappears.

Question: Does Legion Killfeed work with CFTools or require CFTools?

Answer: No, it doesn't use CFTools at all. Legion connects directly to Nitrado and Discord using its own backend. CFTools isn't required and isn't part of the setup process.

Question: Why does DisableMultiAccountMitigation matter?

Answer: If that Nitrado setting is enabled, it blocks part of the device-level signal Legion uses for account association. Turning it off lets Legion get better data for alt review.

Question: Can I brand the outputs for my own server?

Answer: Yes. You can set custom logo URLs, embed colors, role assignments, and ticket styling to make the output match your server's branding.

Question: What is the normal setup flow?

Answer: Invite the bot, create a Nitrado service token for your DayZ server, run /setup token to add it, then run /setup channels if you want Legion to build your feed structure automatically. After that you configure the extras - locations, embed colors, radars, economy, bounties, status views, and anything else specific to your server.

Question: Which website tools are free?

Answer: Most of them. The website has free DayZ item search, file validators, compare tools, editors, calculators, loadout helpers, trader tools, JSON tools, and file utilities. The Discord bot is premium but the website tools are separate.

Question: Are the vocals or performances on the audio page Legion's?

Answer: Yes, the vocals and instrumentals are Legion's. Soul wrote the lyrics and shaped the sound through multiple passes with AI tools. All the tracks are Soul's copyright and reflect the journey of building Legion as a self-taught developer.

Question: Can Legion automatically act on skywalkers or undermap swimmers?

Answer: Yes. Legion has built-in enforcement options for skywalkers and undermap swimmers, alongside other moderation triggers you can configure.

Question: What kind of Nitrado token do I need?

Answer: You need a service-scoped Nitrado token tied to the specific DayZ service you're setting up. Don't use a broad account-level token - create one scoped to the service only.

Question: Does Legion have alt detection?

Answer: Yes. Legion can connect player records using linked account data and other signals collected from both DayZ and Discord to help identify alts.

Question: Which Nitrado settings need to be correct?

Answer: Legion checks your Nitrado service for the logging settings it depends on: admin logs, player list logging, build logging, and placement logging. If those aren't enabled, feeds and tracking will look broken even if everything else in Discord is configured correctly.

Question: Is the DayZ search page free to use?

Answer: Yes, completely free. The search page helps you find classnames, attachments, and file references for DayZ items - no account needed.

Question: Does the DayZ search page include the older browse data too?

Answer: Yes. The search page includes the older browse-by-category data, now merged into one searchable section instead of being spread across old builds.

Question: Why does Ko-fi and Discord linking matter for access?

Answer: The membership system works by matching your Ko-fi payment to your Discord account. If they're not linked correctly, Legion can't tell who should have access - that's why it matters.

Question: Does the DayZ search page include recipes and crafting references?

Answer: Yes. The search page includes recipes and crafting references backed by the site's recipe data and imported DayZ wiki content - not just a basic search box.

Question: How many servers can one membership cover?

Answer: One membership covers up to 10 servers on a single Nitrado account. Check Ko-fi for the current pricing.

Question: Can Legion change the Nitrado settings for me?

Answer: Yes. During setup, Legion can push the required Nitrado settings through the API and restart the service if needed so the changes actually take effect.

Question: How does pricing work?

Answer: Memberships are handled through Ko-fi. The public tier starts at $5.50 a month and covers up to 10 servers on one Nitrado account. Higher amounts are optional support - they don't unlock different bot features. Check the Ko-fi page for the current tier article since that's always up to date.

Question: Can I use the DayZ search page for crafting and recipe lookups?

Answer: Yes. Featured recipes are visible on the search page, and the crafting material is also in the DayZ docs section. It works as a full crafting reference, not just an item lookup.

Question: Where do I get support?

Answer: Join the Legion Killfeed Discord. That's where you get setup help, troubleshooting, and support tickets.

Question: Are the reviews on this site invented or rewritten?

Answer: No. All reviews are sourced from Trustpilot or directly from the reviewer. Where needed, screenshots or proof are shown so you can verify they're real.

Question: Can I use my own existing channels instead of auto-created ones?

Answer: Yes. You can assign your own existing channels instead of letting Legion create new ones. The settings commands support both flows.

Question: Does Legion include heatmaps?

Answer: Yes. Legion has kill, damage, and player location heatmaps so you can see where activity is clustering on your server instead of just reading individual events.

Question: Does Legion do more than a basic killfeed?

Answer: Way more. Legion covers hit feeds, PVP and PVE tracking, player locations, heatmaps, radars, alt detection, tickets, economy, scheduled tasks, file work, and a set of free web tools for DayZ admin work. Kill notices are just a small part of what it does.

Question: Can Legion automate restarts, base damage windows, or cfgGameplay changes?

Question: What is a Nitrado service token?
