Zone alerts and base protection

Base Radar Zone Alerts and Bans

Base Radars create named map zones for bases, traders, arenas and protected areas, then use player position and event logs to tell staff when players or combat events touch those areas.

What a Base Radar shows

A radar record can show the zone name, player, owner context, event type, distance or location information and whether the player is allowed inside that area. Owners use it for base trespass alerts, trader-zone checks, PVE protection, faction territory and automated zone bans where the server rules allow them.

Legion base radar alert example
Zone alerts show staff which named area the player touched.
Legion base radar kill alert example
Kill and combat events can be checked against protected zones.
Legion base radar PVP example
PVP records can be matched to a zone instead of only a raw coordinate.
Legion player location example
Player location data is what lets zone checks work in plain language for staff.

How it works

Staff define a zone by shape, name and owner rules. Legion then compares player positions and event locations from the server logs against that zone. When a player or event falls inside the area, the bot posts the readable alert instead of making staff compare raw coordinates by hand.

Zone rules decide whether the radar only reports, allows listed owners, watches PVP/PVE actions or applies an automatic ban. That lets one zone behave like a trader safe area while another behaves like a private base warning.

Settings that control the radar

Setting Controls Use
/base radar create Zone name, shape/coordinates, radius or polygon points and alert behaviour. Creates the watched zone.
/base radar edit Existing zone settings, alert rules and ban toggles. Changes behaviour without rebuilding the zone.
/base radar whitelist Players allowed in a zone. Stops owners, factions or event staff from being treated as intruders.
/base owner manage Base owner records and owner whitelist state. Keeps zone ownership separate from one-off staff exceptions.
