Banking, games and player rewards

Economy, Games and Bounties

Legion economy links Discord users to DayZ player records so balances, games, payments, robbery rules, build earnings, kill rewards and bounties can run from the same player identity used by stats.

Economy systems and controls

Economy

Players have cash and bank balances tied to their linked DayZ record. Owners can set default starting money, multiplier, maximum bets, maximum wins and whether players earn money from supported game/server actions.

Cash is the spendable side for player commands, while bank is the stored side players can deposit into or withdraw from. Because balances sit on the player record, the same linked identity can be used for payments, games, bounties, robbery and Shoppi-style checkout when enabled.

Games

Slots, blackjack, dice roll, roulette and rock-paper-scissors all spend from the same player economy instead of fake points that cannot be used anywhere else. Wins, losses and player payouts stay tied to the linked account the rest of Legion already understands.

Owners control the risk with maximum bet and maximum win values, then decide which earning commands stay open. A serious survival server can keep gambling tight, while an economy-heavy server can let players build cash through games, daily rewards, work, fishing, bounties and supported gameplay rewards.

Bounty System

Bounties let a linked player place money on another linked player or gamertag. Legion stores the target's bounty, posts the bounty record to the assigned channel and lets players or admins pay/clean bounty records through commands.

When a player with a bounty is killed, Legion can pay the bounty to the killer and clear the target's bounty record. Bounty location output can also alert the bounty channel when a wanted player logs in, respawns or appears at the stored location, depending on the server's location settings.

Game loops owners can tune

Casino-style games

Slots, blackjack, roulette and dice roll give players a Discord-side money sink that still uses their Legion cash balance and server-level bet limits.

Quick player wagers

Rock-paper-scissors works as a light player-facing game without needing staff to track side bets, wins or losses manually.

Server economy pressure

Daily, work and fishing access can be paired with build earnings, kill rewards, rob-on-kill and bounties so owners decide whether money is scarce, generous or mostly event-driven.

How it works

Legion stores balances on the player records that are already tied to stats and linking. When a player deposits, withdraws, pays another player, gambles, works, fishes, claims daily rewards or places a bounty, the bot checks the linked account and updates cash, bank or bounty fields for the selected server.

Kill rewards and build earnings are controlled by owner settings. That means a PVP server can reward kills or allow rob-on-kill while a building/economy server can reward build and dismantle activity instead.

rob_on_kill and earn_on_build change how the server rewards normal gameplay. rob_cmd, daily_cmd, fish_cmd and work_cmd decide which player commands are open. max_bet and max_win stop gambling from becoming an unlimited money printer. default_bank and default_cash decide what a newly linked player starts with, and bounty_min stops tiny throwaway bounties from filling the bounty feed.

Settings that control it

Setting Controls Use
/banking settings multiplier, rob_cmd, daily_cmd, fish_cmd, work_cmd, rob_on_kill, earn_on_build, max_bet, max_win, default_bank, default_cash, bounty_min. Sets the server's money rules: command access, gameplay earning, starting balances, gambling limits and minimum bounty size.
